MAT – commonly known as Management Aptitude Test. All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi conducts this MBA Entrance exam every year. MAT Exam is a national level entrance exam that held four times a year. Generally, the exam will be carried out on the first Sunday of February, May, September, and December. MAT Exam 2020
Management Aptitude Test – a standardized test being organized since 1988. The MAT Exam conducted to facilitate the Business Schools to screen the candidates for getting admissions to MBA and allied programs. In the year 2003, Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved the exam as a national level test. Any of the B-Schools that may be national or international can consider the MAT Test score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. There are two modes available to attend for the exam, i.e., Paper-based and also Computer based test. Aspirants can choose any one of these two options to take the test. The Online and offline exam will be held on two different dates.
The All India Management Association (AIMA) created as an apex body of professional management with active support of the Government of India and Industry in 1957. It has a broad base of 64 Local Management Associations (LMAs) including two cooperating LMAs. The organization linked up with over 3000 institutions and 30,000 individual professionals directly and through the network of the LMAs. Every year the board conducts this exam for getting admissions to MBA course in various B-schools. Hence, on 18th February 2013 as per the Supreme Court of India, MAT continued as an entrance test to PGDM institutes across India.

Management Aptitude Test Eligibility Criteria
Therefore, the Students who have completed their Graduation degree in any of the streams like Science, Commerce, and Arts from any UGC approved Institutes or Universities are eligible for this Entrance Exam. Furthermore, Candidates pursuing the final year of their graduation in the consistent stream can also attend the test. Aspirants who have scored as follows in the degree only allowed to write the exam.
- For General category: Minimum 50% marks.
- For SC/ ST categories: 45% marks.
- No age limit for this exam,
- Anyone who was passionate about doing MBA after graduation can attend the exam on the appropriate slots.
